Vinyl Siding Buckling in the August Heat? Why It Warps and How to Stop It

A 12-foot run of vinyl siding can move nearly half an inch between a 40-degree morning and a 95-degree afternoon. That expansion and contraction is normal and expected. Vinyl is designed for it.
